My main aims were to lose weight and tone up. I never really had a big desire to gain huge amounts of muscle.
He completely tailored my exercise and nutrition plan to achieve these goals. After that six week program was up I continued seeing Eddie twice a week and have being so now regularly for almost a year.
In that time we have had several short and long-term goals to keep me focused. We did some grueling training including hill sprints and circuits.
He would also bring TRX and resistance bands which allowed me to keep some of the strength I had gained pre-lockdown. Eddie is great at being creative like this — even in the gym if the machine or rack he intended to use is occupied he will have a plan B or C to get the exercise done in another way. Eddie absolutely loves what he does and his enthusiasm is evident not only during the sessions but also in the hard work he does to track his clients progress and give regular updates and advice.
He pushes me to the limit during every session but does so in such a positive way. I can Personal trainers please read say I progress and achieve goals much greater and faster with him than I would without. However, as a doctor who does shift work, sometimes I have to change my appointments and Eddie is always helpful and flexible with this. In summary, I would highly recommend Eddie for anybody looking for a PT for any reason. He has a great knowledge base. He is passionate about it, and he is extremely supportive and positive during and between sessions.
He has worked with hundreds of clients, many in London, and is also the lead trainer for their award winning Boot Camp classes in Caversham. I worked with Chris for 3 years and he helped me lose weight after the birth of my two children. I always found his sessions fun and motivating.

I was nervous about taking fitness sessions as I twisted my ankle at a sports event but since contacting True Lifestyle they made me feel at ease with there approach it was very professional. They put me on a strength and conditioning program which not only helped my ankle but also helped my confidences. I loved sport but after becoming a mum to my 2 kids I couldn't stand to look at myself and felt uncomfortable in my body. I hated the insulating layer around my stomach, so as soon as my youngest went to nursery I turned all my focus on to regain the body I had before and even improve.
My desire was also fuelled by my relationship breakdown so I not only wanted to look good, but also stand strong, confident and self sufficient. I fell in love with regular visits to gym and good nutrition and that made me confident that I can teach others how to find the way to get their body back too.
I went on to study further personal training, and nutrition to serve others like me before. If you're looking for someone shouting at you while you train it won't be me, I am a calm and patient person. I will encourage you and make sure you perform exercises with the right technique and to your best ability.
